REQUALIFICATION FOR PILATES INSTRUCTORS
Continuing Education is essential to maintaining (and elevating) your skills and quality of care as a Pilates Instructor. Following is an overview of the continuing education requirements for Pilates Instructors. For more information please contact the Compliance Team or download the Requalification Application Form.
REQUALIFICATION FOR Paa Members
Polestar Pilates is an Educational Body member with the Pilates Alliance of Australasia (PAA). We recommend becoming a member of the PAA after you graduate for the career benefits of being aligned with a peak industry body, plus discounts on selected courses and workshops with Polesar Australia.
Requalification For Non PAA Members
Graduates of the Polestar Reformer and Mat Programs are recommended to complete:
- Attend a minimum of 16 hours of Pilates courses over a 2 year period
- Teach a minimum of 5 classes per week
- Practice Pilates at least 2 hours per week
Graduates of the Polestar Studio and Rehab Series Programs are recommended to complete:
- Attend a minimum of 20 hours of Pilates courses over a 2 year period
- Teach a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Practice Pilates at least 2 hours per week
