Studio & Rehab Series Overview
The Studio & Rehab Series is about how to assess your client and restore functional movement based on all the studio equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. It’s the most in-depth of the 3 courses, going into exercise prescription for all ages and levels of ability with the widest range of equipment. It takes about 7 months to complete this series – one weekend per month over 6 months, and an online component. Depending on your career path, you might choose to complete one course, or if you’re interested in more than one, complete in a timeframe that works for you.
Once you have completed the course modules, you will need to pass a written exam plus a practical teaching assessment to obtain your Polestar Pilates Studio & Rehab Certification (exams are included in the course fee). Then, depending on your career goals, you have the option to upgrade your qualification to the Diploma.
Think about the type of teacher you want to be, the environment you want to work in, and the clients you wish to work with. Do you see yourself helping rehabilitation patients come back to healthy movement in a studio environment, or would you prefer to teach mat classes to small groups? If you’re passionate about making a difference to people’s lives with movement, you’ll need high-calibre training that’s informed by science and backed by a reputable industry body.
The Polestar Pilates curriculum has earned a worldwide reputation for being the most scientifically sound Pilates curriculum, setting the standard in Pilates education.
