Kimi Broadbent has been mentoring and educating with the Polestar team since 2013 and has been teaching in the movement field since 2007.
Since beginning her Polestar training in 2009, Kimi has been taught by leading industry instructors in Melbourne, worked alongside sports medicine doctors and top specialist physiotherapists.
She has a very keen eye for dysfunctional movement and loves working with clients and students to optimise and restore good movement patterns.
Kimi believes in the importance of education when learning movements so she adapts a style of teaching that is light hearted, fun, but very directive.
She has since gone on to build Pilates programs for 2 physiotherapy clinics on the Mornington Peninsula and now has her own studio by the bay in Melbourne where she teaches full time and offers Polestar student mentoring and tutorials.
She continues to present at local conferences, engage in continuing education and promote Pilates to teachers and students alike.
Coming from a background in state level netball, Kimi is an excellent advocate for active living! You can always find her out jogging, bike riding, playing team sports or playing with her chocolate Labrador Boo.
Her biggest achievements to date have been hiking to the base camp of Mt Everest in 2017 and coming 3rd in the Next Pilates Anytime Instructor Competition in 2018.
