FRANKLIN METHOD: LUNG AND HEART LOVE

Lung and Heart Love

FRANKLIN METHOD: LUNG AND HEART LOVE

As we outline the function of lungs and heart within the thoracic cavity, changes to tension, posture, and mood are a guaranteed outcome.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Protected by the flexible net of the ribs, separated from the others by the division of the diaphragm these two vital organs have a deeply respectful relationship to each other and their surrounds. When we talk about flow in movement, we are literally embodying the beat and breath that energises and fuels our bodies. As we outline the orientation and function of these organs within the thoracic cavity, changes to tension, posture, and mood are a guaranteed outcome.

WHAT IS THE FRANKLIN METHOD?

The Franklin Method is a highly effective, evidence-based approach to movement education focusing on the body and its function. Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagery (DNI)™ is at the heart of the Franklin Method. This is the use of metaphorical mental imagery to support the development of healthy physical function, strength, mobility and coordination. In other words, we combine visualisation techniques with physical exercises to improve movement. Move better. Feel great. Prevent injuries. Improve performance.
