FRANKLIN METHOD: STRONG SUPPORTIVE PSOAS

What is a strong supportive psoas supposed to do? Find out WHERE the psoas is, WHAT it does, WHY it joins forces with other muscles and HOW to use it optimally.

COURSE OVERVIEW

So much responsibility is put on this muscle, shouldn’t we learn exactly what it is supposed to do for us? In this workshop we will delve deep into discovering WHERE the psoas is, WHAT it does, WHY it joins forces with other muscles and HOW to use it optimally. The power of imagery, the use of bands and balls will all help to create a better embodiment experience that will improve its function.

WHAT IS THE FRANKLIN METHOD?

The Franklin Method is a highly effective, evidence-based approach to movement education focusing on the body and its function. Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagery (DNI)™ is at the heart of the Franklin Method. This is the use of metaphorical mental imagery to support the development of healthy physical function, strength, mobility and coordination. In other words, we combine visualisation techniques with physical exercises to improve movement. Move better. Feel great. Prevent injuries. Improve performance.
